REQUIREMENTS TO TRAIN & BEST PRACTICES
At FC Valencia, our primary concern is the safety of everyone ~ players, spectators, volunteers, families and coaching staff. Los Angeles County has approved a safe reopening of Day Camps for youth sports.
Additionally, Cal South has developed Return to Play Phases and Responsibilities Information, and Protocol and Prevention Guidelines for our use and our own modification to ensure the safe return to soccer training.
FC Valencia has a targeted training program that will provide a secure and controlled environment where our players can feel safe and where they can start experiencing some sort of normality.
Together with Cal South, we are providing you with the following documents to help guide our process. The documents below outline the safety protocols we will be following and that we will be asking you and your child to follow, as we restart our practices and training.
Minimum Requirements to Attend Trainings:
1.) Parents are required to administer the following survey at home prior to each training to screen their child for COVID-19. Do NOT send your child to training if they do not pass the health screening.
2.) Players must wear a mask upon arrival at the field.
3.) Do not enter the field if another team is training. Wait for the coach to release the team currently on the field and call out the arriving team. Do not enter the field from the same direction as players who are leaving the field.
